Kelley has over 12 years of experience as a recruiter, staffing variety of positions within a multitude of industries. She has been fortunate to work as a corporate recruiter and with a broad client base. Over the years, she has not only hired and placed people in many different positions, but helped them revise their resumes, prepare for interviews and help them choose the right career path.
Kelley’s career started with Robert Half International, one of the top staffing firms in the world, where she worked for 10 years. Kelley managed and trained an internal staff as well continued individual contributions as a recruiter. Her primary responsibility was to coach, mentor, and develop both her internal staff and external consultants.
In 2007 Kelley launched her coaching practice. She really wanted to focus on the job seeker; assist them with choosing the right career path and work with them on job strategy to make their dream job a reality. While starting her new business, Kelley worked simultaneously as an executive recruiter for a training and development company focused on executive coaching, leadership development and organizational development. Kelley’s role as an executive recruiter gave her access to some of the best and brightest coaches in the country. It also gave her further insight into the job market and the top qualifications companies were seeking.
Currently Kelley still works as career coach with individual clients as well as in the career services department at Hult International Business School, working with students on resume writing, job search strategy and interviewing techniques. Kelley is a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and is currently enrolled in International Coaches Academy a program accredited by the International Coaches Federation, and will receive her coaching certification in September 2012.
